Leena is a senior at Monona Grove High School and she is extremely honored to represent Wisconsin DECA as your VP of Competitive Excellence. With a focus on all things competition, Leena is dedicated to guiding members on their way to the stage through continued development of the Competition Cabinet, your ultimate competition resource defining all series Performance Indicators, and the Competitive Excellence Series, a YouTube series detailing key aspects of competition and professionalism in DECA. By evaluating areas of growth in competitive success, she hopes to understand and address competitors’ needs so that each Wisconsinite has the ability to #GotheExtra. Another focus this year centers on showcasing chapters’ embrace of the four pillars of DECA through the Achievement Archives, where chapters can compile their yearly achievements in a shareable portfolio. Chapters can also demonstrate their excellence in participation of the Diamond Dash, a tiered task-recognition system. Outside of DECA, Leena is passionate about all things music and theater, trying new foods, discovering new musicals to listen to and books to read, and perfecting her tennis serve. She cannot wait to genuinely connect with members both at and away from conferences, and she is so thrilled to be part of your DECA journey.
