The History of Wisconsin DECA
All members join through the high school they are attending. The annual
membership year runs from July 1st through June 30th.
Membership Dues:
All members pay dues of $10.00, broken down as follows:
State Dues: $2.00 ~ DECA Inc. Dues: $8.00
Membership Deadlines:
Initial Rosters and Membership Dues are due at the State Office by
November 1, 2005
Additions Rosters and Membership Dues are due at the State Office
by February 1, 2006
Membership Dues Processing:
DECA Inc. and State Dues are processed through Wisconsin DECA (referred
to as Non-Direct Dues). Send your dues payment, all three copies of
your DECA Inc. Membership Roster, your Chapter List and any Alumni/Professional
Member forms you may have to the State Contact. Please make your check
or money order payable to Wisconsin DECA. Wisconsin DECA will then
forward a copy of the your Membership Roster and Chapter List along
with the DECA Inc. portion of the Membership Dues collected to DECA
Inc.
IMPORTANT: Be sure to make and keep a copy of your Original Membership Roster Form (the white copy) as well as your initial typed list of Chapter Members for your records. Also keep copies of each Additions Roster and it's accompanying typed list of Additional Chapter Members. Staple each Chapter Additions List to your initial Chapter Membership List. This will ensure you have copies of everything you submitted to Wisconsin DECA.
It is best to make copies of your initial Chapter Membership List and any Additional Chapter Membership Lists for your records before you submit them to your Finance Department, as they may send the materials before you have a chance to make copies.
