Hello, Wisconsin DECA!
I am incredibly honored and grateful to serve as your Wisconsin DECA State President for the 2026–2027 school year. DECA has transformed my life over the past four years, and I am beyond excited to give back to an organization that has given me so many opportunities to grow as a leader, competitor, and person. It is a privilege to serve alongside Team 61, and I cannot wait to connect with members from every corner of our state as we work together to discover the Next Big Thing for Wisconsin DECA.
As State President, my priority is ensuring every chapter, advisor, and member feels seen, supported, and valued. I believe some of the greatest ideas come from the incredible leaders within our chapters, and I am committed to creating opportunities for members to share their voices, collaborate with one another, and strengthen the connection between chapter leadership and Team 61. By continuing to improve communication and expand access to valuable resources, I hope every chapter feels empowered to make the most of their DECA experience.
One initiative I am especially excited about is co-hosting The Big Picture podcast. Through this series, we will share important updates, leadership insights, chapter highlights, and conversations designed to keep members informed, engaged, and inspired throughout the year. My goal is for every member to feel connected to the bigger picture of Wisconsin DECA and to recognize the incredible opportunities available within our organization.
Another priority of mine is supporting every member of Team 61 as they bring their unique initiatives and passion projects to life. Each officer has developed meaningful goals that will strengthen Wisconsin DECA in new ways, and I am committed to helping those ideas become reality. Together, we hope to build upon the incredible work of previous officer teams while continuing to innovate and create new opportunities that help chapters grow.
Specifically, my goals include the following:
-Lead and support Team 61's goals and statewide initiatives
-Assist each state officer in implementing their individual initiatives and passion projects
-Strengthen communication between Team 61 and local chapters
-Host a workshop to support chapter leadership
-Expand awareness of Wisconsin DECA programs, resources, and opportunities
-Co-host The Big Picture podcast to increase statewide engagement
-Continue developing meaningful connections with members, advisors, and chapter leadership teams
-Ensure every Wisconsin DECA member feels supported and empowered throughout the year
-Encourage innovation by helping chapters discover their own "Next Big Thing"
-Promote collaboration between chapters to strengthen the Wisconsin DECA community
Wisconsin DECA has always been an organization built on innovation, leadership, and service. This year, I hope we continue that tradition by challenging ourselves to think bigger, lead boldly, and embrace every opportunity that comes our way. Whether your next big thing is qualifying for ICDC, growing your chapter, leading a service project, or simply stepping outside of your comfort zone, Team 61 is here to support you every step of the way.
