Ashriya is a senior at Brookfield Central High School and is delighted to have the honor of serving as your VP of Brand Management. Throughout her term, she’s looking forward to engage members and get them excited for what DECA has to offer. Her initiatives include tracking analytics on all social media platforms to improve engagement, create variation amongst content to cater towards specific demographics, and promoting all of Team 59’s initiatives. New this year, she will be starting a series called Work Based Learning Wednesday which aims to showcase members engaged in work based learning and what that opportunity offers them. Through videos and infographics, the series hopes to encourage members to get involved with WBL and motivate members to display what they have gained from WBL. Outside of DECA, Ashriya serves as her school’s Key Club president and co-captain of the Mock Trial team and is involved in her school’s band, student council, and NHS. Ashriya also plays tennis and rugby. Outside of school, Ashriya is involved with Carnatic vocal (Indian Classical Music) and Bharathanatyam(Indian Classical Dance).
