Gavin is a senior at DeForest Area High School and is thrilled to be serving as your Vice President of Community Service! He is proud to represent a chartered association that focuses heavily on service and making a difference at the local community level. He looks forward to uplifting chapter success across service activities, whether state-wide or back at home, while also maintaining successful partnerships with National DECA and Wisconsin DECA service partners. He is particularly passionate about school-based enterprises, and looks forward to rolling out new and exciting initiatives under his SBE Support passion project. These include a brand new SBE Guide, filled with useful resources, videos, tips, and testimonials from SBEs across our state, aimed to help all stores succeed. Additionally, an SBE Manager Network will be rolled out to give manager teams opportunities to connect with Team 59 as well as other managers across the state in best practice style sessions. Finally, SBEs will see new recognition through the brand new SBE of the Month campaign. Outside of DECA, Gavin is an avid trombonist and golfer, and would drop anything to hang out with his friends and family. Gavin works for the Village of DeForest as the Athletic Complex Concession Manager, and enjoys mowing lawns in his free time. He can’t wait for the year ahead, and reminds you to #BeTheOne in everything you do.
