Hey everyone! I am so excited to meet and work with all of you throughout this upcoming year. As the VP of Leadership Development, I have the privilege of working with the 2026–2027 Leadership Council (LC) members and Ambassadors. These groups are an integral part of Wisconsin DECA, so I am very excited to lead them to their fullest potential.
Leadership Council is a group of dedicated DECA members from chapters throughout the state. Members meet once amonth with Team 61, complete projects for WI DECA, and connect with others across the state. LC members and Ambassadors put in lots of hard work, and I cannot wait to spotlight their work throughout the year!
Throughout the year, LC members and Ambassadors will work closely with Team 61 to promote and support both new and ongoing initiatives. Ambassadors serve as stand-out leaders from each district of Wisconsin DECA and can be used as a resource for DECA questions you may have!
While working with Leadership Council is my main project, I’m ecstatic to begin networking with members across the state. This year, I plan to leverage the Ambassador program to provide resources for both LC and general DECA members. I’m so excited to see so many people succeed and have an impact on Wisconsin DECA.
LC members' work will be highlighted throughout the year on many platforms, but the Leadership Library is a great one-stop shop for infographics and other useful resources that members have shared. One of my main initiatives this year is to increase the role of the ambassador program. I want to create resources, with the help of ambassadors, that will provide insight, knowledge, and tips for members across the state.
My goals for the year include the following:
-Promote collaboration amongst Wisconsin DECA members
-Spotlight work from DECA members across the state
-Strengthen the Ambassador program and utilize the “DECA”-cation coming from across the state
I’m so excited for the year ahead. I can’t wait to see the impact the Leadership Council and Ambassadors will have onWisconsin DECA. I’m looking forward to supporting all of Team 61’s initiatives and am so grateful for the opportunity to help connect members and celebrate the incredible work that will be achieved this year.
