Marianna is a senior at Brown Deer High School and could not be more honored to serve as your Vice President of Membership Development. Her initiatives for the year include the Member of the Month program, where she highlights outstanding DECA members for their contributions within DECA. Marianna is also excited to launch "DECA Alumni Connect," aimed at increasing alumni engagement and showcasing the long-term benefits of DECA membership through monthly videos featuring alumni success stories. She is working to engage with Middle School DECA by updating resources for starting Middle School DECA chapter and creating new materials while ensuring that they are accessible for primary schools across Wisconsin. Additionally, she will be co-hosting the Big Picture Podcast, where she will spotlight different levels of DECA membership, including middle school, alumni, and professional members. Marianna's passion project, "Chalk the Walk," encourages DECA chapters to host fundraising art competitions centered around the theme "Celebrating Diversity." Proceeds from these competitions support local winners and charitable organizations, with the opportunity for state-level recognition. Outside of DECA, Marianna is an incoming co-chair to Chairwoman Marcelia Nicholson and serves on the Finance, Governance, and Evaluation committee of the Milwaukee County Youth Commission. She plays tennis, is a youth representative on the Education Foundation of Brown Deer, and is a dedicated artist.
